Privacy
A small first release keeps the data small.
This describes the current website build. A public-launch privacy notice must be completed for the actual publisher and hosting setup.
What this build does
We read your device’s time-zone setting to suggest a regional edition and display public Moon events on your local clock. This is a suggestion, not precise geolocation. You can change the edition and reading tradition independently. Calendar downloads contain only public event information.
This preview has no accounts, newsletter, analytics, advertising scripts, or session replay. Font files are bundled with the site. Opening a cited source takes you to that source’s own website.
The daily reading uses the selected time zone and current date. Choosing a feeling or answering “It fits” or “Not today” changes only this page; these responses are not saved, sent or counted as public mood statistics. They reset when the reading date or time zone changes, or the page is reloaded.
The birth calculator and seven-day transit reading use your entered date, time and birthplace only in this page’s memory. They calculate on your device; they do not save these details in browser storage, place them in a shared link or send them to a calculation service. “Clear details” resets the form and removes the displayed placements and reading. Reloading resets the calculation, but your browser may retain or restore page and form state through its navigation history. Use “Clear details” to erase the result from this page. Your birthplace is separate from the saved city used for daily timing tools.
When you change settings or choose a calculation city, we save those preferences in this browser’s local storage. They include edition, selected public city identifier, time zone, reading focus and clock format. “Use automatic settings” clears them. If storage is blocked, settings work for the current page but may not survive navigation.
City and birthplace search load a public country catalogue from this site. Place-name text is searched on your device and is not included in a request URL or sent to an external search service. The host receives the country-file request; on a public deployment that request may appear in ordinary hosting logs. Choosing a birthplace does not save it as your current calculation city.
The local sky, daily/monthly Panchang and Vedic timing tools calculate on your device. They do not request GPS location. A shared timing or Panchang link includes the selected public city, date and, for Panchang, the lunar month convention and optional month in its URL; opening that link sends those URL parameters to the host. The copy-link button writes that public link to your clipboard only when you press it. Shared links never include birth details.
This public preview is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare receives the network information needed to serve your requests. Our regional endpoint can suggest a country and time zone from Cloudflare’s approximate network estimate. It returns no IP address, city or precise coordinates and does not log them in its code. Local/static previews return no country. The final operator notice and hosting-log retention details remain to be confirmed.
What must be finished before launch
A public deployment may create routine hosting logs. The final notice must identify the real operator, host, any processors and retention periods, a contact route, and any new data collection added before launch. This preview is intentionally marked noindex until that work is done.
